Adams and Terps Among ACC Leaders

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland sophomore attack Jen Adams (Brighton, Australia) is among the Atlantic Coast Conference statistic leaders in scoring, goals and assists. In 10 games, the Australia native has totaled 52 points for a league-leading 5.20 goal per game average. Her 31 goals and 21 assists also rank her first in the league.

Maryland has five players ranked in the top five in goals per game in the ACC, led by Adams' 31. Sophomore Quinn Carney (Flemington, N.J.) has totaled 27 goals which ranks her second, and she is followed by juniors Christie Jenkins (Media, Pa.) and Kristin Sommar (North Wales, Pa.) and sophomore Allison Comito (Glen Head, N.Y.), respectively. Jenkins (14), Carney (11) and Comito (10) also rank second, fourth and fifth, respectively, in assists.

Maryland junior goalkeeper Alex Kahoe (Villanova, Pa.) ranks first in save percentage with a 6.07 percentage after totaling 96 saves and allowing 62 goals. She ranks third in goals against average with a 6.24.

As a team, Maryland is averaging a league-high 14.70 goals per game, and its 6.30 opponents' goal average ranks it second behind Virginia's 5.9 average.
