2000 (Junior): Started all 22 games on defense … scooped up 23 ground balls and caused 13 turnovers … also controlled five draws.

1999 (Sophomore): Started in all 21 games … caused 11 turnovers on a defense that allowed just 6.74 goals per game … played in every game of 1998 and ‘99 after sitting out her true freshman year with an injury … controlled 24 ground balls and forced 11 turnovers … an ACC Academic Honor Roll selection.

1998 (Freshman): Played in all 21 games … scored three goals, including two in the Terps’ 23-3 win against Towson … followed that performance with a one-goal performance against Brown … tallied eight ground balls and one caused turnover.

1997 (Redshirt): Designated a medical redshirt after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee.

Prep: A graduate of the Thayer Academy in Braintree, Mass. … Thayer is the same prep school that produced Maryland’s four-time All-American Kelly Amonte … was selected captain of the lacrosse team as a senior … a two-sport athlete at Thayer, playing both lacrosse and soccer … earned all-league honors and MVP honors in soccer in 1994 and 1995 … selected all-league in lacrosse in 1994, and also earned MVP honors on attack.
