As a Junior: Appeared in nine contests as a reserve midfielder, including wins over nationally-ranked Penn State (2/20), Boston College (3/20) and Princeton (4/13 and 5/21)...tallied two ground balls and two caused turnovers against Mason...netted first career goal at Virginia Tech (4/16)...racked up draw control versus Princeton in NCAA quarterfinals.

As a Sophomore in 2010: Saw action in nine contests, mainly as a defender, for the top-ranked Terrapin backline...finished the season with two ground balls, two draw controls and two caused turnovers...had a season-high two ground balls against Virginia Tech (4/17)...also added two caused turnovers against the Hokies...registered a draw control against New Hampshire (3/13)...also tacked on a draw control versus Marist in the NCAA First Round.

As a Freshman in 2009: Gained valuable experience in her rookie campaign...appeared in four matches...tallied one groundball versus ACC foe Virginia Tech (4/18)...notched one draw control and one caused turnover in Maryland's NCAA Tournament victory against Colgate (5/10).

Prep: First Team All-City in lacrosse in 2007 and 2008 while enrolled at Roland Park Country School...IAAM All-Star in field hockey, First Team All-City and received Excellence in Field Hockey Award from RPCS in 2006 and 2007...named Top Athlete upon graduation from RPCS...also played club lacrosse for the Skywalkers 2008.

Personal: Elizabeth Victoria Hamilton was born April 6, 1990...daughter of Vicki and Bruce Hamilton...has two brothers, Rob and Pat...Rob played lacrosse at Franklin and Marshall...lists her biggest sports thrill as watching Raven's linebacker Ray Lewis' entrance at games...chose Maryland because of the school and coaching staff...major is art history.
