The Maryland women’s golf team caps the fall season with a trip to the Palmetto Intercollegiate, hosted by College of Charleston, Sunday.
The three-day event is at the Kiawah Island Resort. The Par-72 course at Turtle Point is 5,972 yards.
Other teams competing in the tournament include Bucknell, Charleston Southern, Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, College of Charleston, Eastern Michigan, ETSU, Elon, Georgia State, GRU Augusta, Illinois, Jacksonville State, James Madison, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri State, USF and Xavier
Heidi Baek led the Terps at the Pat Bradley Invitational Maryland’s last time out. Baek, a sophomore from Suffolk, England, posted a three-day low score of 70 on the final day to finish with a 212 overall and take third place.
Sunday’s first and second rounds begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start with 36 holes of continuous play. Monday’s finale is slated for 8:45 a.m.
