Angel has approached her rehabilitation with the right mental attitude and has worked extremely hard. 2004-05
Suffered a knee injury during off-season workouts in April, resulting in knee surgery ... saw playing time in 16 games ... played a season-high 17 minutes in the win over Loyola, grabbing four rebounds, also a season high ... netted a season-high four points vs. Coppin State, knocking down only field goal attempt and both free throw attempts ... three rebounds in six minutes in the win over Monmouth ... had a couple of assists vs. St. Bonaventure, at Georgia Tech and in the home matchup vs. Virginia Tech ... three boards in the NCAA Tournament first-round win over No. 24/21 UW-Green Bay.

2003-04
Saw playing time in 19 games ... recorded five perfect shooting outings, including a 3-for-3 effort at St. Bonaventure for a season-high seven points ... 2-for-2 vs. Niagara and at Wake Forest ... season-high two assists against Sacred Heart and UMBC ... five rebounds in the win vs. Loyola ... five points and four rebounds at Wake Forest ... two blocks and 2-for-3 off the bench in the win over Georgia Tech ... three rebounds at No. 1/1 Duke.

2002-03
Started 23-of-28 games as a freshman, averaging 6.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game ... tallied six double-digit scoring efforts, including three double-doubles, in her first season wearing the red, black, gold and white ... scored a career-high 19 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in Maryland's 104-66 win over Rider on 9-of-16 shooting ... netted 16 points and pulled down a career-high 15 boards in the opening round of the Miami/Gatorade Holliday Classic vs. Cleveland State ... blocked three shots against Coppin State to cap a 10-point, 10-rebound effort.

A four-year starter for Midlothian High School, finished her high school career with a 96-18 record ... her sophomore year (1999-2000),USA Today ranked Midlothian 13th in the nation after finishing the season 31-0 and winning the Virginia AAA State championship ... finished career with 1,285 points, fifth-best in school history ... is also the school's all-time leading rebounder, averaging over 10 rebounds a game her senior year ... nominated to first-ever girl's McDonald's All-Star game ... 2002 first team all-state by the Virginia High School Coaches Association ... her senior year she was the Player of the Year in the Dominion District and first-team All-Met by the Washington Post ... as a junior, received second-team All-Met recognition and was an all-region pick as well ... a three-time Central Virginia Bank Athlete of the Month ... participated in the AAU National Tournament for six-consecutive years and was a member of the James City Blazers ... also played volleyball at Midlothian, garnering second-team all-district recognition in 1999-2000, 2000-01 and 2001-02 ... her basketball coach was Doug Garrett.
