I chose Maryland because: "Maryland was always my dream school. The soccer is very strong and the academics are exceptional. It also gives me the chance to play close to home."

Coach Morgan on Gouterman: "Hope was first brought to our attention by her club coach Adam Ritchie. She is a local player we first saw play at our residential camp and then again at our ID camp. This kid is going to be a surprise for many. She has a tremendous love for the game and you can see her passion every time she plays. She is super competitive and wants to be great! Hope is a versatile player and I could see her in either the midfield or back line for us. There’s always a hidden gem in each class and I wouldn’t doubt if Hope is ours. I’m really excited to see Hope in our environment."
