Before Maryland: Starting forward for the Academy of Notre Dame for all four years...also played basketball and won league championship all four years for first time in school history...three-time First Team All-Interac, All-Main Line and All-Southeast PA...2010 Delaware County Player of the Year...named a 2009 Second Team All-American...also played for Richard and Jun Kentwell for WC Eagles in Spring City, won National Field Hockey Festival 2007, 2008, 2009, also won National Indoor Tournament in 2010.

Personal: Parents are Bill and Jackie Gerzabek...has two younger brothers, Michael and Jack...lists biggest athletic thrill as going to Uruguay with U.S. Under-17 team...chose Maryland for the feeling of being on the campus, the field hockey program and the major...intends to be a high school teacher.
