AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2015): Sat out first month of the season with elbow injury...came back to make first appearance on March 7 against Rhode Island...made 18 appearances, including 7 starts...pitching to a 2-3 record and 6.12 earned run average...struck out 23 batters in 32.0 innings...picked up first win of 2015 in home opener against Lafayette (3/15), hurling a five inning shutout, only allowing two hits and striking out five...followed up by earning second win in as many days against Princeton (3/16), throwing a scoreless seventh inning...allowed one earned in a three inning start against St. Francis (3/17)...struck out five batters in three innings against Dartmouth (3/25)...pitched 2.1 innings in game two of the Ohio State series (3/29), allowing zero earned runs...threw 0.2 innings of scoreless softball against #4 Michigan (4/25)...allowed one run in 2.1 innings of work against Michigan State (5/2). 

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2014): Appeared in 27 games, making 19 starts in the circle...struck out 40 batters in 79.1 innings, posting a 6.79 earned run average...struck out three batters and allowed no runs in 4.0 innings of relief vs. Mississippi State (2/14)...allowed just two hits and zero earned runs in 3.0 innings vs. #13 Stanford...gave up just three hits and zero earned runs in a spectacular 6.1 inning performance against Georgia Tech (3/16)...allowed zero earned runs in three innings against Howard (4/23).

AS A FRESHMAN (2013): Redshirt season...made 14 appearances (one start) before season-ending injury...struck out 25 batters in 28.1 innings...made collegiate debut with one inning of scoreless relief against LIU-Brooklyn (2/17)...struck out six batters in 4.0 innings against Mississippi State (3/1)...earned first career victory against St. John’s (3/8)...made first career start against Radford (3/8).

Before Maryland: Played varsity for four seasons at Gordon Lee High School...her record in the circle was won two Class "A" state also won regionals all four years...two-time Class "A" Pitcher of the Year...Walker County Player of the Year...named to all-state team three times...named to all-region team in all four years...twice named to the Chattanooga Times Free Press Dream Team...named to both the Georgia All-Star game and the Georgia-Tennessee All-Star game...played for Dana Mull...also played for the East Cobb Bulletts and coach Michael Syrop.

Personal: Brenna LeeAnn Nation...daughter of Frank and Donna Nation...graduated with a 3.6 GPA...lists biggest sports thrill as winning the state championship and going undefeated in junior and senior seasons...names Chipper Jones as her sports hero...chose Maryland the coaches and the team...majoring in english.
