Charvat arrived at Maryland after three years at Morehead State. As an assistant athletic trainer, Charvat worked directly with the football, women's soccer, women's basketball, softball and baseball teams. His responsibilities included the development of rehabilitation programs for injuries such as ACL and PCL reconstructions and shoulder arthroscopies.
