BROOKLYN - Tickets for the Barclays Center Classic college basketball game on November 9, 2012, featuring the currently No. 1-ranked Kentucky Wildcats vs. the Maryland Terrapins, will go on sale this Monday, March 12 at 10 a.m.

Tickets will go on sale to Terrapin Club members and orders will be filled in Terpoint priority order as of June 30. For more information on Maryland tickets, Terrapin Club members can contact the Terrapin Ticket Office at 1-800-IM-A-TERP.

Presented by SheetsTM Brand Energy Strips, the Barclays Center Classic will be held on Friday, November 9 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The Northeast Conference is the sponsoring conference for the Barclays Center Classic.

The Barclays Center Classic presented by SheetsTM Brand Energy Strips will be the first college basketball event to be played at the arena. In addition to Kentucky-Maryland, teams participating in the event include Long Island University-Brooklyn, Morehead State and Lafayette.

The Barclays Center Classic presented by SheetsTM Brand Energy Strips will be a staple of the prestigious college basketball programming already confirmed for Barclays Center, which includes: the BROOKLYN HOOPSTM Winter Festival featuring Michigan vs. West Virginia, the BROOKLYN HOOPSTM Holiday Invitational, the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship, Coaches vs. Cancer Classic, and Legends Classic.

About Barclays Center

Scheduled to open in September 2012, Barclays Center will be a major sports and entertainment venue in the heart of Brooklyn, New York.
