As a Junior (2002): Veteran workhorse logged 52.2 innings, third-most on the team …57 strikeouts tied a career-high … set a new personal-best in appearances with 18 … picked off a team-best two baserunners … threw five strong innings, allowing three runs and fanning seven, vs. Pace (March 2) … had best start of the season vs. Vermont (March 10), tying a career-high with 10 strikeouts while surrendering only three hits in five scoreless innings to record his first win of the year … got the starting nod and lasted two shutout innings vs. George Mason (March 27) … had longest outing of the season, tossing 5.1 innings while yielding only two runs, at George Mason (April 9) … had dominating performance vs. Duke, striking out five of the eight batters he retired over 2.2 innings of work to earn the first save of his career (April 26) … threw three scoreless innings of relief against Duke in the ACC Tournament (May 21) … one of eight players selected to the ACC Honor Roll.

As a Freshman (2000): Finished second on the team with five wins ... pitched 1.1 scoreless innings against Elon on Feb. 20 ... pitched 2.0 scoreless innings against Coppin State on March 15 ... struck out a then career-high five batters in a career-high 3.1 innings against Clemson on March 18 ... got the win against Coppin State on April 5, as he went a career-high 5.0 innings, allowed one run on four hits and struck out a career-high nine batters ... got the win in the first game of a doubleheader against Howard on April 11 ... tossed three scoreless innings against North Carolina on April 15 ... threw 2.0 scoreless innings and got the win against Richmond on May 2 ... pitched 2.0 scoreless innings against NC State on May 6 ... went 6.1 innings against Duke on May 13 and got the win ... named to the ACC Honor Roll.

At Magruder: Played catcher along with being the closer at Magruder High School ... batted. .397 his senior season and had a sparkling 0.68 ERA ... named all-county his final year at Magruder ... captained the team to a 15-2 record as a senior.
