RALEIGH, N.C. - Senior Sean Bosdosh went three-under par in Saturday's final round of NCAA Regionals at the Lonnie Poole Golf Club in Raleigh, N.C. He finished tied for 15th on the leaderboard - the highest individual NCAA Regionals finish in school history.

Bosdosh rebounded after a tough second round Friday to move up from 42nd in the standings to top-15. He birdied the first, seventh, 12th and 17th holes Saturday to score a 68 for the day. His combined score of 214 (69-77-68) was the lowest of all 10 of the individual competitors at the Raleigh Regional.

"We're all really proud of Sean," head coach Jason Rodenhaver said. "He's had a great career here at Maryland. It's a tall task to qualify as an individual.  He's played in every event for four years and that's only been done once. We're just really proud, we wish him the best in his career and we're all behind him here at Maryland."

His top-15 finish passed Del Ponchock's individual finish at 19th in the 1994 NCAA Regionals. Bosdosh picked up three top-10 finishes on the year and finished in the top 20 in eight of 10 tournaments. He had a team-low average of 72.30 through 10 events. This is the second straight year Bosdosh received an individual bid after competing in last year’s Tallahassee Regional.
