Kelli Myers, First Year at Maryland (Maryland '92)

A 1992 graduate of Maryland, Kelli Myers returns to the Terrapins' program this year as a volunteer assistant coach after head-coaching stints at the University of Connecticut (1998-2004) and Wheaton College (2005-2006).

In seven years at Connecticut, Myers' Huskies won more than 20 games five times, including a Big East championship in 1998. Additionally, Myers coached 17 all-Big East and AVCA All-Region players.

Myers has also worked as an assistant coach at George Washington and Ohio, as well as serving as a student assistant at Maryland. Myers, who owns a master's degree in physical education from Ohio University, has a history of strong academic success among her players. At Connecticut, 22 of Myers' players were all-Big East Academic All-Stars. In her two years at Wheaton, nine of Myers' athletes were on the Dean's List.
