Angie Rutledge
Position: Director of Volleyball Operations

Angie Rutledge, Sixth year at Maryland (Radford '91)

Angie Rutledge is in her sixth year with the Maryland volleyball program and begins her fourth year as the Director of Volleyball Operations in 2007.

Rutledge came to Maryland after serving as an assistant coach, under current Terp assistant Felix Hou, at UMBC.

Prior to her time at UMBC, she was an assistant coach for two seasons at Loyola College in Baltimore and then spent two seasons as the Greyhounds' head coach.

Rutledge is also experienced in coaching on the club level with Deerfield Juniors, Bay Area Volleyball Academy and Maryland Juniors.

Rutledge graduated from Radford in 1991 after lettering for the Highlanders as an outside hitter and defensive specialist. She was a member of Big South Conference champion teams in 1987, 1988 and 1989. Rutledge was honored with the team's defensive award in 1989 and 1990. She continued at Radford to earn her master's degree in health and physical education.
