As a Freshman (2011): Ninth Terp to be named to the ACC All-Freshman Team...led the team in solo blocks (29) and was second in total blocks (99)...led the Terps with 15 kills against Wake Forest (11/20)...tallied nine kills on 17 attempts at Virginia (11/12)...had 10 kills at NC State (10/28)...led the team with 11 kills against #25 Miami (10/23)...tallied seven kills against #19 Florida State (10/21)...against Wake Forest (10/14) tallied six kills and three blocks...finished with six kills and seven blocks against Clemson (10/8)...had 12 kills and seven blocks against Virginia Tech (10/2)...tallied a career-high 17 kills in a five-set win over Virginia (9/30)...earned ACC Freshman of the Week honors for her performance against North Carolina and NC State..had a career-high .615 hitting percentage to finish with eight kills against North Carolina (9/23)...recorded eight kills on a .400 hitting percentage at Boston College (9/20)...had eight kills and six blocks against No. 25 Ohio State (9/17)...set a career-high with seven blocks against Delaware (9/10)...tallied seven kills and five blocks against Quinnipiac (9/3)...recorded 12 kills and two blocks against No. 24 Tennessee...posted nine kills against Ohio (8/27)...led Maryland with a .353 attack percentage, and recorded eight kills and six blocks against Villanova (8/26).

Before Maryland: Played high school volleyball at Mount Tabor High School under head coach Robyn Wesselman...2011 most valuable player...2010 co-conference player of the year, Under Armour Second Team All-American, and all-county Player of the Year...also played club for head coach Robyn Wesselman with the Set Point Volleyball Club from 2008-2011...also recruited by Duke, North Carolina, Harvard, Yale, Cornell, and Kentucky.

Personal: Full name Adreene Stephany Elliott...daughter of Darryl Smith and Avis Williams-Smith...has two sisters, Alishka Elliott and Arianette Smith...NCHSAA Scholar-Athlete, President's Academic Excellence Award, National Achievement Scholarship...volunteered for many programs including Special Olympics, Samaritan Ministries, and Arbor Acres.
