COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The nationally-ranked Maryland women's tennis team looks to continue its winning streak as it plays host to Old Dominion and Boston College over the weekend in College Park.
The Terps will face Old Dominion at 10 a.m. Saturday and fellow Atlantic Coast Conference member Boston College at 10 a.m. Sunday. Both matches will take place at the Tennis Center at College Park.
The Terrapins are currently carrying a record of 4-0 and ranked No. 33 in the ITA standings. Old Dominion also has a 4-0 record, while Boston College is 3-1.
Maryland defeated Mississippi, which is ranked No. 48 in the country, 4-3 last weekend. The Terps swept the doubles competition, while Marianne Baker, Michal Amir and Maggie MacKeever all won their singles matches to wrap up the win.
The Terps also beat West Virginia, 6-1, last weekend. After winning the doubles round, the Terps won five of the six singles slots to clinch the win.
Amir remains undefeated in both singles and doubles play on the spring season with a record of 8-0. The Terps are 22-2 in doubles play for the season.
