COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Freshman Eleanor Peters won her first two matches at the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, California.
Peters faced Romy Sarrah of Miami first. Peters played a tight first set, winning, 7-6 (4). She also won the second, grasping her first win, 6-4.
In her second match of the day, Peters grasped a win against Elizabeth Lumpkin of UCLA, 6-4, 7-6 (5).
Peters will play Katrina Tsang of North Carolina for the qualifying match.
