Terps Down Virginia Tech, 4-3

BLACKSBURG, Va. - University of Maryland won four of six singles matches and that was enough to hold on to a 4-3 victory over Virginia Tech in women's tennis action here.

The Terps improved to 8-2 this season with the victory.

Winning in singles action were Ramona But at No. 1, Emily Marker at No. 2, Marta Jedrzejak at No. 4 and Jennifer Dent at No. 5. Virginia Tech picked up the doubles point by sweeping all three doubles matches.
