COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland dropped its second-to-last conference game of the season Friday afternoon to No. 37 North Carolina State 6-1.

The Terps (4-11, 0-10 ACC) got a strong showing out of Jordan Hansbrough at No. 4 singles. Hansbrough dropped N.C. State's Daria Petrovic 6-4, 6-3.

Hansbrough's doubles partner, Lexi Brand, took N.C. State's Tana Illova to a third set before falling 10-7 in the tiebreaker.

In doubles play the senior duo of Lisa Miller and Maggie MacKeever defeated the Wolfpack's Sandhya Nagaraj and Daris Petrovic 8-6 at No. 1 doubles.

The Terps wrap-up conference play Sunday vs. Wake Forest at 11 a.m. at the Tennis Center at College Park. Sunday's match will be Senior Day for the Terps. First, Maryland match up with Richmond in a make-up Saturday at 2 p.m. also at the Tennis Center at College Park.
