WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Junior Julia Graca and Senior Brooke Rogers won Maryland's first match of the day while senior Marianne Baker's second singles took her second match of the season at Day Two of the William & Mary Invitational.
Graca and Rogers played in the Flight B Doubles, taking a victory against UNC, 8-5.
In the Flight A Singles play, #69 Baker won the consolation draw against #83 Ela Kaluder of Arkansas, 6-2, 6-3. Baker finished the weekend 2-0 in singles and 1-1 in doubles.
Sophomore Michal Amir also took her second singles victory of the weekend in the Flight C singles quarterfinals, 6-4, 6-4.
Rogers, who played in the consolation semifinals in the Flight E Singles, breezed Jessica Brouwer of Virginia Tech, 6-0, 6-3. In the consolation draw, sophomore Juliana Naso easily won, 6-0, 6-0.
