COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 70 Maryland women's tennis team plays host to No. 42 USF Sunday, March 11 at the Tennis Center at College Park. First serve is scheduled for noon.
The Terps (6-5, 0-2 ACC) had their four-match winning streak snapped against Virginia Tech Sunday.
In singles, Maryland has been led by 36th-ranked sophomore Cristina Stancu and junior Ana Belzunce. Stancu and Belzunce have each won five consecutive matches playing at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, respectively.
Stancu is 16-5, 8-3 in dual play, with five victories over nationally-ranked opposition.
Prior to dropping a match against Virginia Tech, sophomore Welma Luus had won four matches in a row at No. 3 singles. Luus is 6-7 and 5-6 in dual action.
Freshman Mikele Irazusta has played in 10 of Maryland's 11 matches at the No. 6 spot. Irazusta is 6-4.
In doubles, the Terps are 20-13 in dual play led by the 25th-ranked tandem of Belzunce and Luus. The Terrapin duo is 7-4 in dual play including five wins over ranked opponents.
Last Time Out
The Terps swept doubles against the Virginia Tech Hokies, but the Hokies responded with wins at No. 3, 4, 5 and 6 singles to win the match.

The Bulls have lost their past two matches including a 5-2 defeat to then-No. 23 Texas A&M. USF has played four ACC opponents already this season and is 2-2 with wins over Florida State and NC State.
USF is 7-3 at No. 1 singles. Ecaterina Vasenina has played at No. 1 in 9 of 10 matches and is 6-3 with one win over a ranked opponent. The Bulls are also 7-3 at the No. 2 position. Loreto Alonso Martinez is 5-2 at the spot.
In doubles, the Bulls are 15-14 in dual action. Vasenina and Martinez are 5-3 at No. 1 and 1-2 against ranked opponents.
