Austin’s Dany Quevedo (2/7)…dropped a tight 7-6(5), 6-3 decision to Vivian Cheng of No. 45 Columbia (2/14)…moved up to No. 5 and defeated and defeated Amy He of Harvard 6-3, 5-7 (6-1) (2/21)…knocked off Farris Cunningham of Rutgers, 6-0, 6-0 (2/28)…edged Penn’s Lina Qostal, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 (3/1)…rolled Ivana Vukovic of No. 56 Old Dominion, 6-0, 6-1 at No. 6 (3/6)…won conference contests against Katerina Matysova of Nebraska (3/13) and Mira Ruder-Hook of Michigan (3/15)…moved up to No. 3 and knocked off Morgan State’s Cierra Plummer (3/16)…had her seven-match winning streak snapped by No. 47 Penn State’s Devan McCluskey (3/21)…dropped a three-set decision to No. 21 Ohio State’s Sandy Niehaus at No. 4 (3/22)…won her first match at No. 4 over Ekaterina Stepanova of Wisconsin, 7-6, 7-6 (3/28)…defeated No. 57 Minnesota’s Aria Lambert, 6-4, 6-2 (3/29)…won her final match of the season over Nicole Robinson of No. 43 Purdue, 6-1, 0-6, 6-3 (4/12)…Fall Season…won two matches at the Kitty Harrison Invitational (11/7-9)…notched victories in her first two matches at the USTA/ITA Atlantic Regional Championships (10/19)…won a pair of consolation matches at the Cissie Leary Invitational (9/12).

As a Sophomore (2013-2014): recorded a sterling 8-1 doubles record pairing with her sister Nataliya ... claimed five straight doubles victories to start the season ... defeated Syracuse's Maria Avgerinos for her first ever conference singles win ... won the flight B singles title at the Cissie Leary Invitational in Philadelphia, defeating Princeton's Caroline Joyce, 6-4, 2-6, 6-1, in the final.

As a Freshman (2012-2013): joined the team in the spring ... competed as No. 2 in singles in her first two dual matches as a collegian with victories against UMBC and Howard ... occupied the No. 3 season for the majority of the year, earning singles wins against Towson, William & Mary and VCU ...  partnered with sister Nataliya to form the No. 2 doubles team and grabbed a conference win against Virginia.

Before Maryland: has won four under-18 Russian Tennis Tour events in singles ... ranked as high as 38 in the RTT under-18 age group ... semifinalist in two ITF Grade 5 Junior Tour event ... partnered with her sister Nataliya to win three under-18 RTT events.

Personal: daughter of Alexey and Liudmila ... twin sister Nataliya also plays tennis for Maryland...plans to major in kinesiology ... lists Roger Federer and Victoria Azarenka as her sports heroes ... came to Maryland because of its strong academics and tennis program.
