As a junior in 2012: Named an NFHCA All-American, NFHCA All-Mid Atlantic Region First Team and to All-ACC Team for the third straight year...has started in all of the Terps' game so far this season, except Senior Night...had two goals at #11 Stanford...scored in the fourth minute at #16 California (Aug. 24)...scored in the 31st minute at #11 Stanford, then tied it up to force overtime with three minutes left in the game (Aug. 26)...notched two assists in Terps' win over #15 Ohio State (Sept. 2)...scored vs. #19 UMass off shot into the circle from Gulick (Sept. 8)...had an assist to Frazer in team's win over Dartmouth (Sept. 9)...had an assist in Terps' come-from-behind win over #18 Boston College (Sept. 14)...assisted on both of Parker's goals within 52 seconds of each other for a 2-0 Maryland lead in a win at #14 Wake Forest...also scored in that game (Sept. 22)...assisted on Terps' game-tying goal at #7 Virginia (Sept. 28)...scored and had an assist in Terps' 6-0 rout of Temple (Sept. 30)...scored in team's win over #24 Duke (Oct. 6)...scored in Terps' win over UC Davis (Oct. 14)...notched a goal against Towson (Oct. 16)...scored Terps' first goal vs. in their overtime thriller vs. #1 North Carolina (Oct. 20)...had a goal and an assist in Maryland's 3-0 win over American (Oct. 22)...scored in ACC Quarterfinal win over #22 Duke (Nov. 2)...scored with 1:35 to play in ACC Championship game vs. #1 North Carolina (Nov. 4)...scored Terps' insurance goal in 2-0 win over #13 Lafayette in NCAA First Round (Nov. 10)...assisted on game-tying goal in 2-1 win at #4 Connecticut in the NCAA Second Round (Nov. 11)...scored Terps' first goal in the NCAA Final Four game vs. #2 Princeton (Nov. 16).

As a sophomore in 2011: Named an NFHCA First Team All-American, Second Team All-American, to All-Mid Atlantic Region First Team, All-ACC Team and All-ACC Tournament team...started in all 23 games so far...scored game-winning goal of NCAA Championship game vs. No. 1 North Carolina (Nov. 20)...subbed in n overtime and immediately streaked down and across the field for an open shot with 4:51 left to play...scored in 12 games...named to Preseason All-ACC Team...scored vs. No. 1 Old Dominion (Oct. 14)...scored in four straight games (Sept. 18-30)...named ACC Co-Player of the Week (Sept. 13)...notched game-winner and first assist of the year at UMass (Sept. 18)...notched first career hat trick vs. Villanova (Sept. 11)...scored vs. No. 9 Michigan (Sept. 4)...scored first two goals of the season at Temple (Aug. 29).

As a freshman in 2010: Started all 24 games...ACC Freshman of the Year...named a Second Team All-American by the NFHCA...named to's All-American Third Team, as well as All-Rookie team...earned a spot on the All-ACC Team and All-Mid Atlantic Region First Team...named to ACC All-Tournament team...scored 17 goals and notched seven assists...also had five game-winners...had two goals and both gamewinners in team's first to ACC games in the season, vs. Boston College (Sept. 18) and at Wake Forest (Sept. 25)...earned ACC Player of the Week honors after both of those games...also scored two goals over Wake Forest in the ACC Semifinals and the gamewinner over No. 2 North Carolina in the ACC Championship game...member of 2010 ACC and NCAA Championship team.

Before Maryland: Four-year varsity letterwinner at Penn Manor...named to Lancaster-Lebanon All-League teams in 2008, 2009, 2010...named 2009 Keystone Athletic Award winner and MVP...2009-10 New Era Player of the Year...was an ESPN Rise featured athlete...led team to 2010 league, district and state title...played on undefeated soccer team in 2007...ran track in 2008 and 2009 and midfield for school's lacrosse team in 2010...also played for Penn Lanco won 2008 and 2009 gold medals in Indoor Keystone Games and 2009 gold medal in National Field Hockey Festival..currently Penn Manor's all-time leading scorer with 112 goals...has also played on US U19 and U21 teams...helped team win 2010 JWNC title and toured Argentina.

Personal: Jill Elizabeth Witmer...daughter of Lew and Judy Witmer...has three brothers, Jon, Joe and Jeremy, and one sister, Jocelyn, who is a pole vaulter at Penn State...recipient of the Michael and Mary Dana Director's Circle Scholarship...chose Maryland for its great field hockey program, coaches, teammates, and proximity to home...enjoys the science major.
