Spring 2011: Competed as an individual in X events with the Terps...tied for 78th at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate with a two-round 156...shot a 158 at the Wolfpack Spring Open and finished in a tie for 57th individually...placed 15th at the season-concluding Cavalier Classic with a five-over 149.
Fall 2010: Competed in two fall tournaments for Maryland...Helped the Terrapins finish in fifth place at the Maryland Intercollegiate...In the season-opening Invitational at Ocean Course, finished with a 248 (80, 81, 87), tied for 71st.
Spring 2010: Played in all seven of the team's spring tournaments ... Earned a top-15 finish at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate carding a four-over-par 146 for 12th place ... Helping lead the Terps to one of their three top-five finishes of the season ... Was just three strokes above par at the ACC Tournament with a 219 (70-76-73), going two strokes under on the first day for a season low round 70 ... Finishing in 27th place in the 55 player field ...Averaged 75.64.
Fall 2009: Competed in three tournaments with Maryland and two as an individual...Had his best performance at the Firestone Invitational, finishing 5th, where he competed as an individual...Recorded a 71 at Firestone, his low round of the fall season...Played 15 rounds and averaged a 74.73, the best on the team for players participating in 10 rounds or more...Led the team twice, first at the VCU Shootout (T47) and again at the Memphis Intercollegiate (T17)...Ranks No. 17 in the ACC.
Spring 2009: Finished with a scoring average of 78.8 in four events ... best finish was a tie for 24th place at the Rehoboth Beach Spring Invitational, shooting a 9-over-par 80 ... top individual round was a 3-over-par 75 in the final round of the Seminole Intercollegiate ... finished 56th at the Seminole Intercollegiate with rounds of 82-77-75 ... shot a 6-over-par 78 at the Cavalier Classic.
Fall 2008: Finished with a scoring average of 75.4 over the course of four events... Recorded one of four top-20 finishes the team had when he finished tied for 17th at the Maryland Intercollegiate (73-70--143)... The 70 in the second round at the Maryland Intercollegiate was his low round of the season.
Spring 2008: Fourth on the team with a 75.4 scoring average over six rounds... Tied for the team lead with two rounds in the 60s... Had one top-10 finish, a tie for fourth place at the Cuthbert Cup (73-69--142)... Shot his low round of the season at the River Landing Intercollegiate, ultimately finishing tied for 40th (75-79-68--222).
Fall 2007: Was 3rd on the team with a 74.2 scoring average... Had 14 of his 17 rounds count toward the Terps' team total (.824), with a pair of rounds in the 60s... Placed first or second on the team in the first four events of the fall season... Topped the Terps at the Navy Fall Classic with a 15th-place finish, his best of the fall (72-75--147)... Had a 69 in the second round to highlight his T26th finish at the VCU Shootout (73-69-76--218)... Matched that total in the final round of the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate (78-77-69--224) to help Maryland post a 276 team total... The 218 at the VCU Shootout was his best 54-hole total of the fall.
Before Maryland: First team All-State as a sophomore, junior and senior... Played in the U.S. Amateur at Hazeltine (Minn.) in 2006... Won the N.Y. State High School Individual title in 2006... First team all-county selection in all four years at Pittsford Sutherland HS... Team MVP his junior and senior seasons... Tied for 13th with 36-hole score of 150 at States as a senior... Sutherland won the Section V, Class A team title his senior year... Ranked at one point during June 2007 as the No. 1 player in the state of New York and 65th in junior national rankings by Golfweek.
