Maryland Ready for River Landing Intercollegiate

The University of Maryland men's golf team will continue spring play when it travels south to Wallace, N.C. for the River Landing Intercollegiate, hosted by East Carolina and UNC Wilmington from April 8-9.

In the Terps' last outing, William Wiseman led the team to a ninth-place finish at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate. Wiseman, a sophomore transfer, shot a 143 over two rounds to tie for fourth individually.

Thirteen other schools will compete at the River Landing Intercollegiate: co-hosts East Carolina and UNC Wilmington, NC State, Virginia, Liberty, Memphis, Lamar, Winthrop, Jacksonville, Old Dominion, St. John's, Seton Hall and USC Upstate.

The tournament, which is played on the par-72, 6,997-yard course, will begin Friday morning and will end Saturday for a total of 36 holes.
