Terps Finish First Day of Palmetto Classic

AIKEN, S.C. - Junior Sean Bosdosh shot a one-under 69 his first round, and is tied for 11th place after the first day of the USC Aiken Palmetto Classic. Bosdosh sits eight strokes behind the leader at 143 (69-71).

Sophomore Ben Warnquist is tied for 43rd after hitting a combined 149 (78-71), and freshman Andrew McCain hit an eagle while shooting a 156 (78-78). Freshman Tom Harris is currently tied for 52nd, after shooting a combined 151 (78-73) in the opening rounds. Harris is tied for second at the event in birdies, after hitting eight on the opening day.

The University of South Carolina holds the 36-hole lead with a 570 (+10) after the first day. The final round will begin at 9am on Tuesday morning.
