Bosdosh Leads Terps to Twelfth at Palmetto

AIKEN, S.C. - In its first action of the spring season, the University of Maryland men's golf team finished in 12th-place at the Cleveland Golf Intercollegiate at the Palmetto Golf Club.

Freshman Sean Bosdosh used a team-best three-round 222 to lead the Terps. At 12 over, Bosdosh tied for 32nd individually.

Senior Tom Hanna III and junior Sean Brannan both finished three back of Bosdosh at 225, good enough to tie for 46th. Sophomore William Wiseman and junior Joey Rice rounded out Maryland's golfers Tuesday, posting a 227 and 25, respectively.

Alabama shot 849, just nine over par, to win the team title. The Crimson Tide's Bud Cauley won the individual medal by shooting a tournament-record 201.

Maryland will continue its spring season on Mar. 21 when the Terps and coach Tom Hanna travel south to Williamsburg, Va. to compete at William & Mary.
