WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - William Wiseman tied for fourth and the University of Maryland men's golf team placed in the top-10 at the C&F Bank Intercollegiate, hosted by William & Mary.
After shooting par in Monday's first-round action, Wiseman carded a one-under 71 Tuesday to move up over a dozen spots and tie for fourth individually. Similarly, Joey Rice notched a 71 to finish the intercollegiate tied for 20th. Sean Bosdosh hit a team-best 70 and tied for 71st while Sean Brannan and Tom Hanna III finished with scores of 155 and 160, respectively.
James Madison's Ryan Vince won the tournament on the third playoff hole over teammate Chris Wellde and Delaware's Justin Martinson.
Tied for fifteenth through Round One, Maryland jumped up to ninth by the end of the tournament on Tuesday thanks to a second-round 289.
The Dukes of James Madison won the team title with a 572 overall while Radford placed in second at 580. USC Upstate claimed third at 582 over two days.
Maryland will look to add a second straight top-10 finish on Apr. 4 for the Rehoboth Beach Spring Invitational in Rehboth Beach, Del.
