Men's Golf Sits In Fourth Place After Second Round Of Cavalier Classic

Round 2 Results 

Charlottesville, Va. - The University of Maryland men's golf team improved its second round total by three shots Saturday to move into fourth place at the Cavalier Classic, hosted by Virginia at its Birdwood Golf Course. Following a first-round total of 303, the Terps finished with a second-round total of 300 led by Matt Schall's second consecutive one-over par round of 73.

Schall (73-73=146) sits in a tie for sixth overall heading into the final round of the tournament on Sunday. The host Cavaliers saw their three-stroke first round lead balloon to 18 strokes over second-place UNC Greensboro (295-300=595) with a second round three-under par 285. Full recap to follow...
