Terps Close First Day in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. - The Maryland men's golf team closed its first 36 holes at NC State's Wolfpack Intercollegiate Monday. Freshman Victor Fox and sophomore Tom Harris each went one-over par to lead the way for Maryland.

Fox parred the first round, then shot a 73 in the second. Harris went one-over in the first round and then shot an even-72 in the second round. They finished the day tied for 27th place on the leaderboard.

Junior Connor Tendall went two-over on the day. In the first round, he went three-over with a 75, then improved to go one-under in the second round.

Senior Sean Bosdosh shot a 74 in the first 18, then a 75 in the second. Junior Ben Warnquist started off with a 77 in the opening round, then went one-over with a 73 in the second.

The Terrapins will play the third and final round in the Wolfpack Intercollegiate Tuesday morning. The tournament is being played at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, N.C. For live stats, log on to
