Warnquist Leads Terps Through Day One in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. - Junior Ben Warnquist led Maryland through the first 36 holes at the Galaxy Golf VCU Shootout in Richmond Monday. He went two-under in round two to move to 11th on the leaderboard with a 144 (74-70).

Warnquist's 144 had him even after the first two rounds. Senior Sean Bosdosh went one-under with a 71 in round one, then went two-over in round two for a combined score of 145.

After a difficult first round, freshman Victor Fox went two-under in round two for a combined score of 149 (79-70). Sophomore Tom Harris also had a strong second round with a one-over score of 73 to shoot 152 overall. Junior Connor Tendall shot a combined score of 163 (85-78).

As a team, the Terrapins sit in seventh out of 14 teams competing in the tournament.
