COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Tickets for fall and winter Olympic sports at the University of Maryland will go on sale to the public beginning Friday, August 1. Season and single-game tickets will be available for all regular-season home contests for men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball and wrestling.
Men’s and women’s soccer have been ticketed events for years now, while the 2014-15 season will be the first volleyball and wresting are paid ticketed events.
To make things easier for its fans, Maryland will once again be offering the Maryland Pride Pass for the 2014-15 season. The Maryland Pride Pass allows admission to all regular-season Olympic sporting events on the College Park campus, which include men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball in the fall, wrestling in the winter, and men’s and women’s lacrosse and baseball in the spring.
Individual Maryland Pride Passes are available for $99 each, while a Maryland Pride Pass + Guest option, which allows for two admissions per regular-season home Olympic sport event, is available for $150.
Maryland soccer fans will be excited about the season ticket package, which includes admission to every regular-season home men’s and women’s soccer game in 2014. Season ticket packages are available for $40-$70. The combined soccer season ticket gives Maryland fans access to a combined 21 games for the 2014 season - 12 for the men and nine for the women.
Single-game tickets for Maryland men’s soccer games will be $10 for adults and $5 for seniors (62+) and youth (3-17). Group tickets for groups of 15 or more are also available for $4 per ticket.
Single-game tickets for the Terps’ women’s soccer games will be available for $6 for adults and $4 for seniors (62+) and youth (3-17). Groups of 15 or more fans can purchase tickets for $3 per ticket.
Volleyball fans will be able to see every one of the Terps’ 10 Big Ten games in 2014, including a showdown with defending NCAA champion Penn State on Nov. 22, with season tickets, which will range from $25-$40. Single game tickets for Maryland volleyball matches are $6 for adults and $4 for seniors (62+) and youth (3-17). Groups of 15 or more fans can purchase tickets for $3 per ticket.
The Big Ten has combined for 33 NCAA Division I team titles and Maryland will be hosting some of the best collegiate wrestling in the nation in 2014-15. Season ticket packages will go on sale on Aug. 1 and will range from $40-$65 and will include all home matches.
Single-match tickets for Maryland wrestling will go on sale on Aug. 25 and will be $10 for adults and $5 for seniors (62+) and youth (3-17), except for Big Ten matches against four-time defending NCAA champion Penn State, Minnesota and Iowa, which will be on sale for $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and youths.
Tickets can be purchased either of three ways: 1) online by visiting umterps.com, 2) by calling the Maryland Ticket Office at 1-800-462-TERP (8377), or 3) by visiting the Terrapin Ticket Office in person at the XFINITY Center.
Ticket information for Maryland’s spring Olympic sports – men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse and baseball – will be released at a later date.
Admission to regular-season home events for Maryland’s other Olympic sports – field hockey, gymnastics, indoor and outdoor track and field, and softball – will remain free of charge.
