As a freshman (2013): Saw action in 54 games and started in 50, mostly at second or third...hit .286 on the year with 36 hits, 31 RBI and six home runs...went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer in her debut as a Terrapin vs. UMass (Feb. 16)...picked up a walk and scored vs. #13 UCLA (Feb. 23)...went 2-for-3 with a double vs. #8 California (Feb. 23)...went 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI vs. Fordham (March 1)...went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI vs. Hofstra (March 2)...went on a five-game hit streak (March 2-8)...went 3-for-4 with four RBI off two doubles in doubleheader vs. Hampton...ended both games with walk-off hits (March 12)...had three hits and two RBI vs. Virginia, including a homer as the Terps swept the series (March 24)...knocked in four RBI and scored a run in series opener vs. Georgia Tech (April 13)...hit a solo homer in second game vs. the Yellow Jackets (April 13)...had a hit in each game of that three-game series...hit two home runs for three RBI in series finale vs. Boston College (April 21)...drove in an RBI in each of the first two games vs. North Carolina...the Terps won both to take the series (April 27)...knocked in an RBI with a base hit at Virginia Tech (May 4).

Before Maryland: Played four years of varsity softball at Hart High School for Steve Calendo...played second base and her senior season (2012), hit .352 on the year with 32 hits and 12 home runs...hit .396 as a junior (2011) with 36 hits, 31 RBI and six home runs...named to All-League Second Team and Offensive Player of the Year as a junior (2011)...four-time Scholar-Athlete...also played for the So Cal Combat Panthers and coach Bob Surane...member of multiple honor societies and groups...graduated with a 4.3 GPA.

Personal: Juliann Strange...parents are Steve and Pam Strange...has two brothers, Scott and Cody...lists Peyton Manning as her sports hero...came to Maryland for the beautiful campus and great atmosphere...also considered Texas A&M-Corpus Christi...wants to become a math teacher or tutor...math major.
