As a senior (2012): Started in 55 of 56 games at shortstop...led the ACC with her .385 batting average overall and .460 average in ACC play...her .385 season average is the third-best single season average in Terrapin history...scored 42 runs with is fourth-best in school history...67 hits were third in the league...her 191 career hits are in Maryland's top seven...named to All-ACC First Team...raised her batting average over .140 this season alone...notched 22 RBI, 10 doubles, two triples and a home run...drove in three RBI in Terps' win over UAB (March 3)...went 4-for-4 at the plate at Georgia Tech with a double (April 8)...hit first career home run at NC State (April 21)...rode a 12-game hit streak to end the regular season (April 18-May 6)...went 4-for-6 in Terps' two NCAA Regionals games...19 multi-hit games on the season and six games with two or more RBI...scored a run in 32 games.

As a junior (2011): Started in all 55 games at shortstop...hit .244 on the year with 39 hits, 13 runs scored and 22 RBI...knocked in three RBI in win over St. John's (March 12)...also had two hits in seven games...brought in two RBI with double to left in regular season finale vs. North Carolina (May 8).

As a sophomore (2010): Started at shortstop in 46 games ... led the team in at-bats with 186 ... hit .285 on the season in one of the first three spots ... scored 28 runs off 53 hits, including four doubles and three triples ... knocked in 14 RBI ... went 5-for-6 in stolen bases ... tied for No. 3 in the Terps' career triples list with seven and in single-season triples with three ... had 13 multiple-hit games on the year ... had three hits in four games, including against No. 16 Florida State in the ACC Tournament (May 14) ... knocked in two RBI four times as well, including against Virginia Tech (April 10) ... hit two triples against George Washington (April 7)...named to ACC's Academic honor roll.

As a freshman (2009): Played in 45 games and started 40 ... hit .287 on the year ... 21 runs and 37 hits ... tied for team-high four doubles and owns team-high four triples ... 14 RBI ... 11 stolen bases ... three runs scored against Howard on March 15 ... three hits against Boston College on April 18 ... two RBI in four games ... two stolen bases against Dartmouth on March 8.

Before Maryland: A three-time All-Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland (IAAM) Conference nominee during her career at Seton Keough High School ... named Seton Keough High Athlete of the Year in 2007 as her team went 15-3 in winning the IAAM 'A' Conference championship ... earned second team All-Metro honors from the Baltimore Sun as a senior ... a three-time all-city selection ... spent most of her prep career playing shortstop ... coached by Dave Bowyer ... also played basketball and soccer for the Gators ... attended Towson during the 2007-08 school year, but did not participate in softball ... played club softball for the Washington Senators.

Personal: Daughter of Jim and Maureen McLaughlin ... has one sibling, Kiel ... a member of the Dean's List while attending Towson in 2008 ... lists winning the IAAM 'A' Conference softball championship as a senior in high school as her most thrilling sports moment thus far ... academics, athletics and proximity to home each influenced her decision to attend the University of Maryland ... enjoys watching basketball in her spare time ... lists the Boston Red Sox as her favorite professional sports team and Nomar Garciaparra as her favorite player ... a kinesiology major.
