As a senior (2012): Started in 41 games at first base and other infield sports until she suffered broken bones in her hand vs. NC State, then came on as a pinch runner...hit .281 on the season with 32 hits, 21 runs scored and 29 average of .323 is No. 2 in Maryland record books...rode a six-game hit streak (Feb. 25-March 3)...went 4-for-5 with three RBI three runs, a double and a triple vs. Rhode Island (March 9)...hit a three-run home run at Georgia Tech (April 7).

As a junior (2011): Started in 58 of 59 games...saw action at first and third...her .350 batting average was No. 6 in the ACC and top 10 in Maryland record books...named to the NFCA All Mid-Atlantic Region Second Team...had 62 hits, which was top five in the league...lead the team with 35 RBI and eight home runs...hit a walk-off RBI base hit in the bottom of the seventh in ACC Tournament First Round game vs. NC State (May 13)...17 multi-hit games...went 3-for-4 with an RBI vs. Pittsburgh to help team win Strikeout Cancer Tournament title in Boca Raton, Fla. (Feb. 27)...hit two home runs vs. Illinois State for four RBI (March 4)...went 4-for-4 vs. Hampton in Maryland Round Robin (March 20)...had five RBI vs. Delaware State (April 27).

Before Maryland: Played shortstop freshman year and first base sophomore year at Baylor University ... competed with the Virginia Shamrocks club team for three years ... played shortstop for her high school team that won district championships three times ... made first team all district four times ... earned district player of the year two times ... named MVP of her high school team three times ... earned first team all state ... two-time all region player ... named Northern Virginia player of the year ... member of varsity track and varsity competitive cheer for her high school ... senior co-captain of varsity softball and varsity competitive cheer ... named school MVP of indoor track ... earned all district and all region for indoor track ... received National Cheer Association All-American ... two-time school MVP of competitive cheer.

Personal: Daughter of Jerry and Tracy Hanafin ... has two brothers, Patrick and Michael ... earned Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll ... made Baylor Dean's List ... named Big 12 first team all academic ... volunteers for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes ... came to Maryland because it is located closer to home and has great school spirit ... plans to start a record label or become a TV broadcaster.
