    As a junior (2012): Saw action in 39 games and started in 27...split time between third base and as a pinch hitter...also made nine appearances in the circle and pitched 17.1 innings...hit .272 on the season with 22 hits, five doubles and 13 RBI...named ACC Player of the Week for notching eight hits and seven RBI in Terps' Round Robin (March 13)...went 4-for-4 with two RBI and a double vs. Rhode Island (March 9)...notched five RBI against Princeton with her only home run of the year (March 10)...went 2-for-2 as the designated player vs. No. 19 Florida State and drove in a run off a a double.

    As a sophomore (2011): Saw action in 48 games and started in 39...split time between third base and as the designated player...hit .257 on the season with 27 hits, 12 runs and 22 RBI...was second on the team in home runs with seven...hit two in both games of a doubleheader at Virginia (March 26)...those four home runs gave her eight RBI in one day...efforts earned her ACC Player of the Week honor (March 29)...hit first homer of the season vs. No. 16 Nebraska at South Florida's tournament (March 11)...had three hits that day, including second game vs. Colorado State, with home run and a double for three RBI...had three RBI with a home run vs. Georgetown (April 6).

    As a freshman (2010): Played in 29 games and started in 12 ... made three appearances in the circle ... averaged .233 at the plate for the year with 10 hits, two home runs and 14 RBI ... hit her first career home run, which was a grand slam, against Howard March 10 ... hit her second home run at Boston College May 9 ... carried an ERA of 7.00 with a save and two strikeouts.

    Before Maryland: Pitched for high school's team from 2005-09 ... team went to the Final Four of their league in 2006 and 2009 ... named Class 6A MVP in 2009.

    Personal: Daughter of Tom and Carol Carroll ... has two siblings, Kristina and Chris ... would play volleyball if not for softball at Maryland ... came to Maryland because it was different from Florida ... honor student all four years of high school.
