As a Junior (2008): Started 57 of the 58 games in which she played, seeing most of her time in the field at second base ... batted .247 with 40 hits, 25 runs, nine doubles, two triples, one home run and 14 RBIs ... ranked first among returning players in doubles, and second among returnees in hits and tied for second in runs ... tied for the team lead with 12 sacrifice hits, a total that tied for the fifth most in a single season in school history ... ranked third on the team in total plate appearances with 182 ... her .961 fielding percentage is tops among returning starters ... had nine multi-hit games ... went 3-for-3 with three RBIs at Georgia Tech on April 27, and also hit her first home run as a Terp during that game.

Before Maryland: Played two seasons at Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach, Fla., where she had been recruited by coaches Laura Watten and Alissa Smith ... in her two seasons at B-CC, she recorded 84 runs and 48 RBIs on 126 hits, including 24 doubles ... batted .378 and tied for the team lead with five home runs in 2007 as a sophomore ... demonstrated speed on the basepaths, recording 17 stolen bases during her tenure with the Wildcats ... named MEAC Rookie of the Week on May 1, 2006, after batting .533 in leading her team to a 3-1 record for the week ... originally a product of Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Ga. ... an all-conference selection for Stephenson from 2002-2005 ... was the 2005 Dekalb County Batting Champion ... also lettered in basketball ... her 2002 basketball squad won the Dekalb County Championship.
