As a Sophomore (2006): Saw action in seven games ... stole second base in the second game of a doubleheader against George Mason (April 12), and scored her first run of the season.

As a Freshman in 2005: Saw action in four games during the season ... first hit of her career was a double against Oakland (March 4).

Before Maryland: Earned four varsity letters at catcher and third base for McDonogh High School in Owings Mills, Md. ... earned McDonogh's Coaches Award in 2004 and captained her squad her junior and senior seasons ... recipient of the Eagle Award in 2003 ... also lettered four seasons for McDonogh's conference champion swimming team.

Personal: Daughter of Michael and Joyce McGuire ... has a brother, Michael, and a sister, Meghan, who also attends Maryland ... a communication major.
