She has rebounded from a few injuries throughout her college softball career to become one of the most aggressive and intense players on the field. Keri has spent the entire off-season, as well as the fall season, building her strength and developing herself in all areas of the game in order to reach her personal goals. She will be one of our strongest leaders throughout the season and is a player who provides a great degree of emotional enthusiasm in everything that she does."

As a Junior (2006): Started all 59 games ... Maryland career leader in triples (8) ... placed second in the ACC in triples with six, also setting the Maryland single-season record ... tied for third on the team with five home runs, four of which came in the final 14 games of the season ... tied for the team lead in sacrifice hits with 12 ... tied for third in runs with 25 ... ranked fourth on the team in hits (46), RBIs (31), and total bases (77) ... drove in multiple runs in 10 games ... recorded 61 assists, third-most on team ... stole five bases on seven attempts ... had six hits, two home runs and eight RBIs in nine at-bats during a three-game stretch in April ... three RBIs against Florida State (May 7).

As a Sophomore (2005): One of two players to have started in 47 games last season ... tied for team-high of 32 RBIs for 2005 ... had second-highest number of home runs (4) and slugging percentage (.406) for the team ... hit .259 in 2005 ... fielding percentage of .967 was third-best on 2005 squad ... batted .338 with runners on base ... had four RBIs and hit her first triple of the year in the game against Florida State (April 16) ... hit game-winning two-run home run against Villanova (March 30) ... hit home run, first of 2005 and seventh of career, in game against Virginia Tech (March 26) ... went 3-for-3 against UNC Greensboro (March 5) with two runs, a double, and an RBI ... hit third double in game against Georgia (March 4) ... drove in a run and scored another in Terps' 3-2 win over Missouri (Feb. 19) ... was 2-for-3 at the plate, hit a double and a single against No. 6/8 Alabama (Feb.18).

As a Freshman (2004): Made 57 starts and 58 appearances in debut season ... first Terrapin freshman to be named to the All-ACC team since Kiesha Pickeral in 1999 and the fourth freshman to receive the honor in Maryland softball history ... led the team in hits (57), doubles (15) and slugging percentage (.514) and tied for the team lead in home runs (6) and RBIs (36) ... second-best batting average on the squad (.318) ... ranked in the top-10 in the ACC for hits, runs scored, doubles and slugging percentage ... 15 doubles tied for second-best single season total in Terp history ... named to the ACC All-Tournament team after four stellar outings in Tallahassee ... drove in two runs with a double against No. 24 Georgia Tech (May 15) at the conference championships ... went 2-for-4 and scored a run in the Terps' tournament-opening victory over Virginia (May 14) ... hit sixth home run of the year against No. 23 Georgia Tech (May 2) ... drove in a run and scored another vs. James Madison (April 17) ... hit first-career triple in the 9-0 win over St. Francis (April 15) ... also had a double and scored two runs vs. the Red Flash ... gave Terps a 1-0 win over ACC foe NC State (April 10) with an RBI walk ... had a 2-for-4 day at the plate vs. George Mason (April 6), driving in two runs and scoring another ... hit a two-run home run against Delaware State (March 28) ... had four RBIs against Maryland-Eastern Shore (March 20) ... knocked a two-run home run over the center field wall vs. Saint Louis (March 13) ... hit a home run and scored two runs in win over Troy State (March 12) ... went 3-for-4 with three RBIs against Winthrop (March 6) ... ended the day vs. Temple (Feb. 22) going 3-for-4 with a career-high five RBI 's... hit her first-career home run against the Owls, a solo shot.

Personal: Daughter of Brent and Debbie Lounge ... has one sister, Brittany ... served as a student athletic trainer in high school ... majoring in kinesiology.
