Coach Watten to Appear on Terp Talk on 1300-AM Baltimore at 8:35 p.m.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland softball head coach Laura Watten will be calling in live to Terp Talk on ESPN Radio 1300-AM in Baltimore on Thursday night around 8:35 p.m. She will be talking to host Bruce Posner about the team's great success this season, resulting in a 15-1 record and being ranked 23rd in the country. The Terps are currently on a 12 game win streak, the longest since a 13 game streak in 2001. Maryland leads the Atlantic Coast Conference in pitching with a 0.96 ERA and has the ACC's leading hitter in Kerry Hickey, who has a .420 average.

Maryland plays host to the Maryland Invitational this weekend at Robert E. Taylor Stadium. The Terps' first games in the tournament are Friday against Stony Brook at 5 p.m. and Seton Hall at 7 p.m.
