Virginia Tech comes to Maryland following one of the biggest upsets in softball history after the Hokies defeated the US Olympic team, 1-0, Wednesday night. Hokie pitcher Angela Tincher pitched a no-hitter and was one walk away from throwing a perfect game from the circle.
Tech (23-9) is 5-1 in ACC games so far this season. The Terps are 9-5 against the Hokies all-time. Last year, Virginia Tech took two out of three down in Blacksburg, Va.
