COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Maryland softball player Jillian Callaway must have told her incredible Price Is Right story over 100 times now, and it just keeps getting better.
The Terp infielder, who traveled with her family to the game show in Los Angeles and left the winner of $11,000 in prizes, has appeared in national and local media.
Callaway's enthusiastic rendition of the tale was aired on Aug. 15 on Prince George's Cable Channel 15. A day later she appeared in a USA Today "Sports People" column by Eddie Timanus, titled "Maryland softballer hits game show winner."
Also on Aug. 16 The Gazette's Ted Black featured Callaway in an artice called "The Price was Right for Terps' Callaway." Click here to read that story on The Gazette website.
