AS A JUNIOR (2016): Appeared in 28 games, making 22 starts...started all but one game at third base, starting one game in the DP slot (Rutgers, 4/20)...hit at a .179 clip with a .266 on base percentage and .339 slugging percentage...made two pinch hit appearances at Panther Invitational and got hit by the pitch both times (2/20)...started 14 consecutive games at third base (2/27-3/20)...received first collegiate start against Columbia (2/26) and made the most of it, knocking two singles...crushed clutch go-ahead tenth inning RBI double in thrilling extra inning win over Florida Atlantic (2/27)...tallied hit and run scored against Stony Brook (2/28)...brought in runs in back to back games in District Invite (3/4-5)...crushed first career home run against BYU (3/11)...hit grand slam the following day as part as 8-0 win against St. Louis (3/12)...cracked RBI double and scored two runs in series clinching win over Michigan State (4/10)...darted double in middle game of Penn State series (4/16)...reached base twice via single and hit by pitch in Penn State finale (4/17).

Before Maryland: Played second base, third base, shortstop and pitcher for the Cary Imps...hit .511 as a junior in 2012 with a 1.02 slugging percentage and served as team captain...in 19 games in 2012, notched 23 RBI off 26 hits...as a sophomore in 2011, hit. .391 with 11 RBI in 15 games off 18 hits...as a freshman in 2010, hit .466 with 27 hits in 19 games...named to the All Tri-Nine Conference team in 2010, 2011, 2012 and the All-District Team in 2011 and 2012.

Personal: Emily Elizabeth Curry Libero...daughter of Braulio and Sandra...has two brothers, Lucas and Christopher...is half Brazilian...is a certified scuba diver...chose Maryland for a great education, pretty campus, team was happy when she came to visit, which shows good coaches and good environment...if she could compete in another sport at Maryland, it would be gymnastics...majoring in family science...career plans include becoming a nurse practitioner.
