As a freshman (2014): Appeared in two games...made collegiate debut as a pinch-runner against Omaha (2/28)...hit by pitch in first collegiate plate appearance vs. Howard (4/23).

Before Maryland: Played second base, third base, shortstop and pitcher for the Cary Imps...hit .511 as a junior in 2012 with a 1.02 slugging percentage and served as team 19 games in 2012, notched 23 RBI off 26 a sophomore in 2011, hit. .391 with 11 RBI in 15 games off 18 a freshman in 2010, hit .466 with 27 hits in 19 games...named to the All Tri-Nine Conference team in 2010, 2011, 2012 and the All-District Team in 2011 and 2012.

Personal: Emily Elizabeth Curry Libero...daughter of Braulio and Sandra...has two brothers, Lucas and half a certified scuba diver...chose Maryland for a great education, pretty campus, team was happy when she came to visit, which shows good coaches and good environment...kinesiology major.
