AS A JUNIOR (2015): Had breakout year, starting in all 54 games at second base...exhibited a power surge, belting 15 home runs (5th in Big Ten), and a .641 slugging percentage...batted at a .320 clip with a .407 on base percentage...had a 6-for-8, 7 RBI day at the Kickin' Chicken Classic against Lafayette and Virginia Tech (2/7), blasting two home runs and scoring three runs...went 2-for-4 with two doubles against Providence and 2-for-4 with two runs against Drexel (2/13)...smashed a RBI triple in first inning against #24 Notre Dame (2/19)...went 2-for-4 with a two run homerun against Long Beach State (2/21)...blasted a two run homer against Northern Iowa (3/1)...jolted Maryland out to a 5-1 lead with another two run dinger against #16 UCF (3/3)...scored four runs as part of a 1-for-2, two walk outing against Rhode Island (3/7)...hit a homerun on three consecutive days (3/15-3/17)...went 2-for-3 with three RBI's including a two-run homerun against Lafayette (3/15)...followed up by a 2-for-4 two RBI showing against Princeton (3/16)...went 2-for-5 with a clutch two run dinger as part of a Maryland rally in Big Ten opener against Iowa (3/20)...continued the homerun streak with a three run shot as part of a 4 RBI day against Dartmouth (3/25)...hit walkoff two run home run to cap an exhilirating Maryland comeback against Ohio State (3/27)...went 4-for-8 in Ohio State doubleheader (3/29) with two doubles...went 1-for-1 with two runs, a RBI, and two walks against Penn State (4/17)...smashed a two run long ball in home state against Rutgers (4/21)...went 2-for-3 with a homerun against #4 Michigan (4/25)...went 2-for-4 with a solo shot against Michigan State (5/2)...followed up by a 2-for-3 two run performance the next day (5/3)...capped off season with 15th homer in Big Ten Tournament against Penn State (5/7). 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2014): Started 43 games...scored 13 runs and added nine RBIs, four doubles and two triples...went 2-for-3 with two runs and a triple at FIU (2/7)...knocked in two runs at FIU (2/8)...scored two runs vs. South Carolina (2/14)...scored a run against Georgia Tech (3/16)...knocked in a run in the second game against North Carolina (3/22)...went 2-for-3 with an RBI and run scored at Boston College (4/13)...knocked in a run against Delaware State (4/16)...went 2-for-4 with three RBIs in two games against Howard (4/23)...went 1-for-2 with a run in final game of season against Pitt (5/4).

AS A FRESHMAN (2013): Appeared in 45 games, making 29 starts…posted 18 hits and eight RBIs…knocked in first career run and scored two runs vs. Massachusetts (2/16)…had career-high two RBIs against Fordham (3/1)…went 2-for-3 with a double versus Valparaiso (3/16)…notched two hits and scored a run against Howard (3/27)…tallied a career-high three hits and knocked in two runs against Boston College (4/20).

Before Maryland: Played four years of varsity softball at Toms River East High School for her mom, Debbie Schwartz...played second base and went 27-4 in her senior year (2012)...she hit .547 at the plate, notched 52 hits with 15 doubles, a triple and five home runs, as well as six stolen bases, 34 RBI, 37 runs as a senior (2012) 2012, named First Team All-State by The Star Ledger and First Team All-Shore by the Asbury Park Press...twice named First Team All-NFCA East Region (2011, 2012) a senior, was also selected to the Super 36 All-Star Game for the state of New Jersey...named Toms River East's Wendy's Heismann Trophy Selection and MVP as a senior as well...three-time honoree on Asbury Park Press First Team All-Class A South Coaches list and All-County First Team...also played on the Jersey Intensity for Kevin O'Donnell...also played four years of varsity basketball and was team MVP in 2011 and 2012...played varsity soccer for three years and varsity field hockey for one...graduated with a 3.8 GPA.

Personal: Corey Margaret Schwartz...parents are Al and Debbie was an All-American field hockey player at American, and also played field hockey, basketball and softball at Montclair State...has two siblings, Alex and Jackie...lists Derek Jeter and Jessica Mendoza as her sports heroes...came to Maryland because of Coach Watten...wants to work for the FBI or in the criminal justice field...criminology and criminal justice major.
