As a junior (2012): Started and played in 53 games at second base...hit .280 on the season with 35 hits and 30 RBI...went 3-for-3 at the plate vs. Canisius (March 16), vs. Virginia Tech (April 1), and vs. Delaware State (April 25)...went 3-for-4 vs. George Mason (April 4)...hit five home runs on the season, including a solo shot vs. No. 11 Michigan (Feb. 17) and one against Virginia (April 14)...lead the ACC and was No. 7 in the NCAA with her 24 hit by pitches...five multi-hit games on the year...named to All-ACC Academic Team.

As a sophomore (2011): Saw time in 37 games and earned 31 starts...played second base mostly...hit .208 on the year with 16 hits, 18 RBI and 11 runs...hit a home run in each game of a doubleheader at Virginia (March 26)...hit a two-run home run vs. No. 25 Georgia Tech (April 2).

As a freshman (2010): Saw action in 42 games, starting in 25 ... took 62 at-bats with nine hits on the year ... led the ACC in HBP with 19 on the year ... went 2-for-2 against Columbia (March 17) and also hit her first career home run in that game ... had two RBI in two games, against Columbia (March 17) and Delaware State (April 28) ... doubled against Howard (March 10) ... scored two runs against James Madison (March 24) ... had five assists against No. 16 Florida State (April 3)...named to ACC's Academic Honor roll.

Before Maryland: Played shortstop for her high school from 2006-09 and Jersey Inferno for two years ... team won states in 2008 ... named All-League and All-State ... also played midfield in soccer from 2005-08.

Personal: Daughter of Stephen and Julie Maier ... has one brother Stephen, and one sister, Allison ... member of National Honor Society ... came to Maryland because it's in the ACC ... also recruited by Miami, Georgetown and Fordham ... kinesiology member and intends to become a physical therapist.
