Forward Patrick Mullins has been named Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Soccer Co-Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Mullins, a senior from New Orleans, had a hand in all of the No. 5 Terrapins’ goals during a rugged road stretch that produced a 1-1 tie at second-ranked Notre Dame and a 3-3 draw at 23rd-ranked Virginia. Mullins scored the equalizer in the 72nd minute at Notre Dame and had a pair of goals and an assist at Virginia as Maryland remained unbeaten in ACC play.

Mullins, who leads the Terrapins with eight goals on the year, posted his assist against Virginia on a pass to Tsubasa Endoh just 1:11 into the match. It was Maryland’s quickest goal of the season thus far.

This is the second ACC weekly award for Mullins – the reigning ACC Offensive Player of the Year – this season.

Clemson midfielder Thomas McNamara shared weekly honors with Mullins after helping the Tigers to an upset win over North Carolina and a tie with Wake Forest.
