As a Senior (2005): Ran in all seven meets ... came in 22nd overall at the Great Meadows Invitational ... placed 45th with a time of 18:34.0 at the Great American Cross Country Festival ... ran to a 59th place finish at the prestigious Paul Short Invitational ... came in 67th at the ACC Championship meet with a mark of 21:45.0.

As a Junior (2004) Ran in all seven of the team's races, posting her best finishes at the ACC Pre-Meet (eighth) and the JMU Invitational (10th)... ran a 19:26.76 to finish 17th overall at the Mount St. Mary's Duals... finished fourth on the team and 81st overall at the IC4A/ECAC Championships, running a 19:54 (5k).

As a Sophomore (2003): Unable to compete for the Terps during the 2003 season after being diagnosed with mononucleosis during pre-season training.

As a Freshman (2002): Ran in four meets for the Terps in 2002...finished seventh at the Maryland State Championships with a season-best time of 19:58.00.

Before Maryland: Won four varsity letters in cross country at North Hunterdon High School in Annandale, 2000, her team became the Group III State Champions...was part of the 2001 Central Jersey Sectional Champion team...served as captain her senior year and was MVP...awarded Most Outstanding Senior Athlete Award...was class historian for two years...was a student representative for four years...a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Daughter of Gayle and Gary Gorga...has one sister, Amy...majoring in marketing...chose Maryland over James Madison, Rutgers, Bloomsburg and Columbia...enjoys going to the beach, spending time outside and visitng her family.
