As a Senior (2005): Competed in all seven races ... came in 23rd overall at the Great Meadows Invitational ... finished 49th in 21:45.30 at the prestigious Paul Short Invitational ... ran to a 44th place finish at the ACC Championship meet ... placed 37th overall with a time of 21:46.30 at NCAA Regionals ... earned All-East honors for her 20th place finish at the IC4A/ECAC meet.

As a Junior (2004): Ran to three top-10 finishes and proved to be one of Maryland's most consistent runners at the end of the year... finished 10th at the Mount St. Mary's Duals, seventh at the JMU Invitational and sixth at the ACC Pre-Meet... finished second on the team and 44th overall at the NCAA Regional in State College, Pa... finished 50th at the ACC Championships and 71st at the Penn State Invitational.

As a Sophomore (2003): Ran in three races in 2003... partnered with Cori Koch to place eighth at Charlotte Cross Country Relays on Aug. 30 before being diagnosed with mononucleosis... sidelined by illness until NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional competition and ECAC Championships.

As a Freshman (2002): Was the team's star runner, leading the Terps in each of the seven meets she competed...consistently lowered her times in the 5,000 meters in each race throughout the season, culminating in a season-best and personal-best time of 18:03.5 at the ECAC Championships, where she finished fourth...named to the All-East team...in all, garnered four top-five finishes...took second at the Navy Invitational and third at the Appalachian State Invitational...season-best time in the 6,000 meters was 21:47.1, posted at the NCAA Regionals...finished fourth at the Maryland Invitational.

Before Maryland: Ran varsity cross country and track at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in Coraopolis, Pa....was captain of the cross country team in 2001, as well as the MVP...was also MVP of her track team in 2001...in 2002, she was named the Most Valuable Female Athlete...part of school record-holding teams in the 4X100, 4X400 and 4X800...is the current school record holder in the 800m, 1600m, 3200m and shotput...named to the All-State team in 2002...was the state champion in the 3200m in 2002.

Personal: Daughter of Nancy and Ray Riesmeyer, and Gerald Purcell...has three brothers, Mike, Charles and Jeff...cousin Mark Eaton plays hockey for the Nashville Predators...favorite athlete is Steve Prefontaine...majoring in mathematics.
