As a Senior (2005): Enjoyed a breakout season, leading the Terps in five of their seven races ... opened the year with a 10th place finish (17:56.0) at the Great Meadows Invitational to pace the team ... led the way for Maryland at the Great American Cross Country Festival, placing 26th in 18:01.70 ... came in 27th overall in 21:22.40 at the Paul Short Invitational ... paced Maryland at the Penn State Invitational, finishing 21st overall with a mark of 21:37.0 ... earned All Mid-Atlantic honors for her 18th place finish at NCAA Regionals... followed it up with a sixth-place finish at the IC4A/ECAC meet, where she was named All-East.

As a Junior (2004): Ran in six races for the Terps... had two top-20 finishes in the team's first three meets... finished 17th at the JMU Invitational (5k, 21:28) and ninth at the ACC Pre-Meet (6.3k, 25:59.46)... ran a 25:32.9 (6k) in finishing 69th at the ACC Championships.

As a Sophomore (2003): Ran in six races in 2003... partnered with Katie Purcell to finish eighth overall at Charlotte Cross Country Relays... posted a season-best time at the Paul Short Invitational on Oct. 4 with a time of 22:46.61... competed in ACC and ECAC Championships.

As a Freshman (2002): Posted the team's second-highest finish in five meets, competing in seven total...took sixth place at the Appalachian State Invitational...time of 18:58.15 earned her seventh at the Navy Invitational...season-best time recorded at the Maryland Invitational, finishing the 5,000 meters in 18:38 for fifth place...finished with a 21:31.2 at the Indiana State Invitational, a season-best in the 6,000 meters.

Before Maryland: Attended Towson High School in Towson, Md. where she ran three years of varsity cross country and two years of varsity track...played one year of basketball as a forward...was the captain of her cross country team and her school's Athlete of the Year in 2002...was named the Baltimore Sun Player of the Week and the Baltimore Metro Runner of the Year in 2000...was on the first team All-City and All-County for cross country...was a two-time Maryland cross country state champion...also a two-time regional and county champ...twice was a two-mile indoor state champion...holds two-mile state indoor record...was recruited by Mount St. Mary's, Towson, North Carolina and American.

Personal: Daughter of Mary and Tim Koch... brother Kyle plays basketball for Loyola College and sister Leslie plays lacrosse for Vanderbilt...enjoys cooking...majoring in kinesiology.
