2008 CROSS COUNTRY: Second Terp to cross the 6K , 8th overall at the Navy Invitational with a time of 23:14.6... placed ninth at the Princeton Invitational with a time of 22:38.6...third Terp to finish at the ACC Championships, placing 54th overall with a time of 22:23... finished the NCAA Regional Championship 6K in 23:04 finishing at 37th place... ran a 18:51 at the ECAC Championships to place at 29.

2007 CROSS COUNTRY: Ran in five events for Maryland this season... Best of three top-25 finishes came in season-opener, when she placed seventh overall and second on the team at the Mount St. Mary's Duals... Best 6K time of the year came when Terps won the Leopard Invitational at Lafayette, where she was 23rd overall in 21:56... Was 22nd individually and fifth on the team at the George Mason Invitational... Was third Maryland finisher and 63rd overall at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional (22:07)... Finished 64th individually and fifth on team at the ACC Championships (23:36.4).

2006 CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in four races... finished 29th overall at the Spiked Shoe Invitational out of 316 runners with a time of 22:42.9... placed 69th overall at the ECAC Championships in New York with a time of 19.44.5.

BEFORE MARYLAND: Participated in cross country, basketball and indoor and outdoor track throughout high school... a two-time Group 1 State Champion for 1600m and a three-time South New Jersey Group 1 State Champion for 1600m, 800m and cross country.... placed sixth in New Jersey 1600m and was a two time MVP of indoor and outdoor track.... also named Athlete of the Year three times by her local newspaper, the Ocean Star... owns pre-college marks of 60.1 in the 400, 2:17 in the 800 and 4:58 in the 1,600... holds school records at the 800 and 1,600 distances.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Marylynn and Peter Ritchings... has an older sister, Erin, and an older brother, Matthew... will major in kinesiology with an eye toward a career in sports medicine.
